SHOW BOX #14: PINWIN

Alex de Neijs (Pinwin) was born and raised in the country side of the Netherlands where he started doing graffiti along tracksides and railways. In 2008 he moved to Rotterdam for to study at the Willem de Koonig academy and met the guys of LASTPLAK with whom he painted for many years all over the world.

The last 5 years Pinwin got involved in the Dutch dance industry as a decoration painter which taught him a lot of new skills. During the lock down of the Covid-19 crisis he decided to apply them in a new way. MESH presented him the opportunity to create a full space installation. This resulted in a visual space landscape which presents as well Pinwin’s background in graffiti and his work in the dance industry.
